Is it possible to add to the mods-list another mod?
All cars from GT Legends game by SimBin are included in GTL-mod by Mojo66. The old Race 07 drivers remember, that this mod was quite popular some time ago. There were servers with this mod (e.g. "87 Team GTC-TC-76 server", "Conline GTL mod server"- now it is changed into Conline-retro-addon-server) and leagues/championships (Conline TC-65 Championship 2011, won by Henk Kuiper with Alfa Romeo GTA TC65, www.conline.cc/en/component/content/arti...d-champion-2011.html www.conline.cc/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=3057 -video from Oschersleben league-race www.conline.cc/en/forum/viewtopic.php?f=77&t=3344&start=60 -list of all cars in the mod)
I have made a patch for this mod to remove ID conflicts. Now its ok with all SimBin games/addons, all mods from Weissbierbude. Lately i removed also conflicts with FIA GT3 mod. race-amateur.webs.com
It would be great to bring this mod to live again. My patch can be taken and changed in any way to become community patch for this mod. But it would be better if the Author of the mod (Mojo66) released this patch/changed/unchanged as his official second patch for this mod.
Cars in the mod are (for me) the same like in GTL SimBin game and setup options are the same also (not like in similar Historic GT mod for rFactor, or in "GTL to GTR2 mod" for GTR2). Its great because cars are so amazing, so legendary and so different - not like today.
But this makes a little problem: cars in each of 3 classes, are not so much similar in speed. E.g. in TC-65 class everybody is taking Ford Falcon,Alfa GTA, Lotus Cortina or Austin Mini Cooper S (Ford Mustang, Jaguar MkI, Fiat Abarth are ignored)
-in GT-65: AC Cobra, Ford GT40 MkI, Lotus Elan 26R (Mercedes 300SL, Shelby Daytona, GT350, Corvette C2, Jaguar E-Type, Ferrari 275, TVR Griffith, Lotus Elite, Austin Healey, Renault Alpine A110,etc.. are ignored)
-GT-TC-76: Porsche 911,906, Corvette C3 1969 570HP, DeTomaso Pantera, Ford Capri (BMW CSL Alpina, BMW CSL Schnitzer, Porsche 914, Corvette C3 1974,Ford GT40 MkII, Ford Escort - ignored).
So it may require adding server-weights for some cars, or changing car data (like mass or power) in the mod files.
In the Conline GTL-mod TC-65 Championship, there were server-weights for cars (Alfa GTA had +80kg). www.mojo66.de/ -site of the Author

There is a simple reason why we wont have the GTL Mod here. If you want to drive the GPL cars, you can head over to our collegues at the Altbierbude and drive those beautiful old cars and so much more. There you have a whole comunity dedicated to GTL so there is not much sense in establishing competition here.

But They have no servers in Race 07 platform?
GTL (2005) game is different than big Race07-Steam-platform.
Ive heard that grip/slip simulation is worse in GTL game (linear vs exponential?).
And GTL game does not generate motec i2 logs, which i use every time i play, to tune setup and check things.

well... just take it as a "no", we wont use this mod, it just floods the model ids with cars that i remember driving not as good as they have to drive on the race07 platform. (ffb etc.)
you could drive the cars from the retro dlc for race07, but thats it. or join the altbierbuden community like rabble already said.
